ABC Appears To Be Correct On The Benghazi Emails, and CNN Can Go Pound Sand

We reported earlier today that CNN was disputing the legitimacy of ABC's emails that show the State Department had a hand in changing the Benghazi talking points for political purposes.

Well today the White House released emails to the press, and it would appear that ABC was correct. Here is a screenshot of the page where Victoria Nuland and David Adams both say the talking points need to be changed because it would as Adams said, "read to members like we had been repeatedly warned."

Victoria Nuland was also concerned that the talking points could be used by members of Congress to, "...beat the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings" then asked , "so why would we want that either? Concerned..."

So what do you think about this? Should CNN apologize? Let us know in the comments.

[Edit] - After looking again at the report from CNN, it appears that the dispute is over the wording of the email from Ben Rhodes. Here is what he said exactly according to the emails released by the White House today:

If you read the highlighted portion, it still looks like he wanted edited points for political purposed. I don't really think it matters if ABC got the exact verbiage correct, what they reported was essentially correct don't you think?
