Above is a clip from the latest episode of Adam vs The Man where Adam Kokesh is still talking about his upcoming planned armed march on Washington DC.
Whether you believe in this planned march, or think it's a bad idea there is one glaring fact that I think is the biggest problem with this. Although I hope I'm wrong, this particular problem is sure to make this march a failure. That problem is that Adam is asking LAW ABIDING gun owners to march on Washington.
By nature, those of us who obey the law will not want to go to an event like this where we will be arrested. We are not like those left-wing anarchists who go to rally's and start riots with the police, and don't care about the consequences. We follow the law, and expect the government to leave us alone. We don't want to cause trouble.
Because of that I don't foresee a large number of people turning out for this. I really like the community of people that follow us on our Mainwashed Facebook page, but after the last Guns Across America rally, that was organized as a peaceful protest gathering and not an armed march, many people on the page were all for the IDEA of it, but a very select few actually showed up.
Adam mentions in the above video that he has over 3,000 people saying they will attend? I think if Adam is lucky he will see 10% of those people show up. Why? Because like I said, most gun owners are law abiding, and don't want to break the law. While others are just too lazy to go altogether.
In short, and this is a sad fact, most gun owners are all talk and no substance when it comes to fighting for their rights.
I really hope Adam Kokesh proves me wrong though. If he can get 1,000,000 armed gun owners to show up, then the police who have threatened to arrest anyone who brings a loaded weapon into Washington will pretty much be powerless won't they? I seriously doubt that more than 300 will show up though.
What do you think? Do you think I'm wrong about this? Why or why not? Let me know in the comments.
