Does Gun Control In Europe Work?

Europe has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, but in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo shooting, the question came up: are Europe's gun restrictions actually effective? As it turns out, gun laws aren't effective in Europe either. Who would have thought that criminals don't follow laws?
