First up is the idea that the AR-15 fires a high powered round, when in reality it shoots a 5.56×45mm NATO (a common round). This is actually one of the smallest and weakest common rounds used.

Next up is the misconception that revolvers never jam. Revolves RARELY jam, but when they do it's a problem. The assumption that you'll always be in the clear with a revolver is dangerous and can get you killed.
