Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement, reacting to the White House announcement that President Trump has ordered National Guard troops to the southern border.
“President Trump is doing exactly what a president should do by sending our troops to the southern border as a caravan of many thousands of potential illegal immigrants approaches our country. As the pictures and video stream in they only crystallize the need for Congress to deliver what the President was elected on: a border wall, an end to DACA, an end to chain migration, defunding of sanctuary cities and an end to the visa lottery program. The President is doing his job, it’s time for Congress to do its job as well.”
