Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement addressing President Trump’s move to reimpose economic sanctions on Iran.
“Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund has long opposed former President Obama’s disastrous Iran Deal. Today, just as then candidate Trump stood with us in 2015 at our End the Iran Deal Rally in front of thousands of people on the west lawn of the US Capitol, we stand with President Trump for keeping his promise of ending the Iran Deal and re-imposing economic sanctions on Iran. President Trump has promised to make America’s national security a priority and he is keeping that promise by banning the use of American currency for financial transactions, stopping sales of Iranian cars, and revoking import permits on some consumer goods.”
