Atlanta, GA—Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today responded to news of Nancy Pelosi vacationing in Hawaii during the partial government shutdown.
“Nancy Pelosi’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. She is proving once again she’s a ‘let them eat cake’ liberal. She complains about government employees out of work during the shutdown while she jets off to spend the holidays in sunny Hawaii rather than working to find a solution that will benefit all Americans. Quite a woman of the people. Lest we forget, several years ago she spent the holidays at a Hawaiian resort suite that ran for $10,000 per night. We’ll remember this every time she gives lip service to the middle class. She has no credibility.”
