Can Washington Post be Trusted to Fact-check?

Duke University says that it has developed a program for television that can fact-check politicians in real time on television. They expect it to be ready by election-time. But by using Politifact and Washington Post as their sources, does it run the risk of warping or obscuring the very truth it purports to serve?
