Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez removed blog post from her site that exposes the wackiness of the #GreenNewDeal

On yesterday's episode of the Dan Bongino Show podcast, Dan pointed out how absolutely bad Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (AOC) Green New Deal is not just for our country, but for the Democratic party in general. The thing is so far fetched it is really making Democrats look like idiots, and many are now trying to distance themselves from the disaster.

Not only are other Democrats trying to distance themselves, but AOC herself is trying to back peddle on some of the wild stuff she had proposed in the bill. Stuff like getting rid of farting cows, getting rid of airplanes, and even paying people unwilling to work. One thing Dan specifically pointed out was that AOC had a blog post on her website going over the Green New Deal, and it has since been removed.

Here's an excerpt from that post that has since been removed:

Any large-scale transformation of society can create the risk of some people slipping through the cracks. That’s why the Green New Deal also calls for an upgrade to the basic economic securities enjoyed by all people in the US to ensure everybody benefits from the newly created wealth. It guarantees to everyone:

• A job with family-sustaining wages, family and medical leave, vacations, and retirement security

• High-quality education, including higher education and trade schools

• High-quality health care

• Clean air and water

• Healthy food

• Safe, affordable, adequate housing

• An economic environment free of monopolies

• Economic security to all who are unable or unwilling to work

Look at that last bullet. Why would we pay anyone unwilling to work?

Here is another excerpt:

The Green New Deal sets a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, at the end of this 10-year plan because we aren’t sure that we will be able to fully get rid of, for example, emissions from cows or air travel before then. However, we do believe we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retrofit every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees, restore our ecosystem, and more to get to net-zero emissions.

Now we can see why she removed it! This stuff is completely laughable!

The best though is when AOC's adviser, Robert Hocket, tries to say that the Green New Deal didn't have any of that stuff on Fox's Tucker Carlson. Check it out:

Obviously he's lying about it. It's clear when you look at the cached version of her own blog post.
