Minnesota Attorney General-elect Keith Ellison resigned from his role as second-in-command of the Democratic National Committee Thursday, amid allegations of abuse by a former girlfriend.
The move comes just two days after Mr. Ellison defeated Republican attorney general candidate Doug Wardlow to become the nation's first Muslim attorney general.
